The perfect preparation for cheese boards, to make montaditos or to accompany what you like most with a crunchy touch.
Ingredients
1/4 cup pecans.
1/4 cup of almonds.
1/4 cup of Brazil nut.
3-4 tablespoons of black garlic honey.
Pinch of salt.
1 tablespoon ghee, butter or coconut oil.
Note: you can make any nut mixture you prefer.
Step by Step
Chop the walnuts with a knife so that you have not very small pieces.
Bring the ghee and walnuts to a large frying pan over low heat. Let them toast a little (without letting them burn), and mix constantly (approximately 4-5 minutes). When they are ready, turn off the heat, add the black garlic honey, salt and stir.
If you want it to be more crunchy, put the walnuts in the oven previously preheated to 150 degrees for 5-8 minutes or when you see that they are no longer wet. Stir so that they toast evenly and prevent them from burning.
When they are cold you can store them in a container that can stay in the pantry for up to 1 month.
